NTD

A nice man from TNT used his pallet truck to drop this at the back of my garage. It's too heavy for me to lift by myself, and won't get unpacked until the weekend. Which gives us time to play guess the tool.

I reckon a Jet bandsaw might not fit in a box like that, but a drum sander might, in its un-constructed state. Ive bought two bandsaws, and even the smaller Axminster one came in multiple boxes.

The size of bandsaw that I want for resawing my logs definitely wouldn't fit in such a small box. Not a drum sander either.

Hmmmm. Time to get the Axminster catalogue out.
    Dust filter?
Dont think a planer, tablesaw or pillar drill would fit either, and they tend to come in multiple boxes anyway. Morticer? But what would a guitar builder need with one of those?
Hmmm, do Jet do router tables i wonder?

It's not just for guitar building, and it's not a Mortimer. Now unpacked and installed, but I'm of to a gig in five minutes. Pics tomorrow.

Assuming the box is about 10" high/thick, I'll go with a pretty hefty bench-top pillar drill. (One of the ~40kg ones with a 16mm chuck.) And I'll have an each-way on the Axminster radial drill, just in case.

Close. It's actually a floor standing pillar drill. I didn't want it bench mounted. On the left of the picture you can see the drill stand it is replacing, which is no longer reliable.
