UK Source for 42awg plain enamel wire

i have some p90's to wind can anybody point me to a UK Source of good spec Pickup wire.

have not bothered winding for years but now have a few juniors to build pickups for so thought time to have a go again. When I wound 7-8 years ago I picked up wire on trips to the US, I would just rather find a uk source for these projects than mess about importing unless it the only option.

All PE wire is sold by an EU based company whose PE plant is, annoyingly, in the States. 

Pickup builders import it from them on large spools. Axesrus sell smaller consumer spools but it's relatively dear.

I don't know of any other UK/EU source that is currently supplying consumers. EBay might be worth a look for importing similar sized spools but I doubt the savings will be worth it.

Yeah unless you import from the US in bulk  (like me) it'd be much better buying poly. Comes in at about 1/5th of the price. But it does produce slightly different tonal characteristics.

Don't think they do plain enamel or formvar though.
