we use an old mackie PA. I have just bought an iPhone 8 but won't be able to plug it in anytmore for interval music etc. Is there a device that can fit on the mixer console so it can pick up any music I want beamed etc?

Can't you just use a lighting to 3.5mm adapter, they cost about £3.40 ?

It's also worth pointing out that the lighting port seems to be on a different DAC to the headphone port on an iPad because if you accidentally damage your normal analog out headphone amp \ DAC  by using phantom power (One muso friend who uses his iPad as an instrument has done this twice  ....... the DAC control routine goes haywire in terms of command shifts and beyond a certain address the volume control turns into a distorted pan control ! ) the lighting port DAC seems to be uneffected meaning  a £3.40 adapter is a lot cheaper than a new motherboard
