It was up for £5k second hand it was a 2015 they wouldn't budge on price - proper 'vintage looking' plain top 8.5lbs - gone in a flash

Regardless of which is more accurate, I'd rather go for an older one like that, especially if it's that much cheaper! Still, anything north of £2k would have me going for a custom build instead.

I played the TH58 at guitar village - it was nice (had nice neck action) - however, I found it that a) it didn't resonate acoustically like my 2014 Traditional does,  b) at the bottom of the fretboard (i.e. an open e chord) it was weirdly chaffing the top of my palm & c) it was quite 'plinky' which I felt was down to the hardware. There was something about it though, I strangely quite liked !
