standard push pull - two functions at the same time?

Seems a bit of a daft question, but then I am a bit daft ...... A push pull pot switch generally has 6 small terminals, presumably you could wire it up to do two functions at once eg change HBs both to single coil at the same time?

If it's a DPDT switch, then it can be wired to do two things.

Yeah, got it thanks. Not quite sure if my plan will work but I can think about it now ...
