I bought this new in September 2012.

It has never left the house and has been kept in a smoke/pet free environment. It’s been boxed up many times and has had sporadic use, as and when time has permitted. Generally speaking this desk has not had a great deal of use.

Regarding FireWire connectivity and DAW intregration, i’ve only ever used it to play sound from the computer (iTunes/YouTube). I’ve never had a DAW to use/test it with. So it works for the basic use mentioned above but I can’t comment on using it for/with a DAW.
