Had the pleasure of seeing these live last night at nice small venue, very cosy. I'm a died in the wool rocker/metal head and only went because a friend asked me to go with them. Never listened to them before as they just didn't appeal.

But wow what a great night! Very uplifting, excellent musicianship and overall a great show. And the bass player is a total dude, you could tell he was having the time of his life (as they all were)
So yeah... Nice to have a completely different but fantastic musical experience!

I like them, bought the album's back in the day.
Where did you see them? I'll have to look for a venue near me if they're touring.

Saw them in Malvern, to be honest not somewhere that usually hosts decent bands so made a nice change not having to travel more than 5 minutes up the road!
See if you can catch them on this tour, it will be worth it!

I don't know much about them, but I love The Optimist LP - some cracking songs on there. 2001! Feels like i bought it only yesterday! Good to hear they're still performing.

They got gigs coming up in southampton, reading, gloucester and clitheroe, so they are not just “still performing”, but getting around the country too.

I've got, and regularly enjoy listening to, their first two albums. Didn't know they were still around, but glad to hear they are.

My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

That's about the going rate for any gig thanks to people stealing music nowadays.

Yep, was £22 for me too. Was a gamble i admit (seeing as i didn't really know who they were) but it was worth it.
