New strings recommendations for my PRS SE!!

Afternoon All,

I will be putting my guitar for a full set up plus pickups installation over the weekend, so will be putting also new strings on it.

I mainly play rock n roll (AC/DC stuff) plus some blues etc...

Currently I have ernie ball skinny top heavy bottom - I was quite happy with them (for power chords etc.) until now, when I started to play some solo parts and my fingers just hurt from bending them !!

What set or combination of sets would you recommend ?

I was thinking of getting the same set but change three bottom strings for something lighter ??

    Is the scale length of your undisclosed model PRS SE guitar 25.0, 24.5 or 24.594 inches?

    Its PRS Tremonti SE and its 25'' I think ?

    If you are happy with your existing plain strings, a 010-048 set should suffice. 009-042 would work. 0095-044 might be a sensible compromise.
