Finished the 10-part Season 1 last night - really good stuff.

Fictionalised drama set in the 70s and tracks the FBI Behavioural Science Unit as it goes from 1 person to a proper thing inc some compellingly acted bad guys

Netflix was so happy with the finished show it signed it up for a second season before it was even on the site. 

Really enjoyed all ten episodes. Really fascinating stuff.   The show is based on a book by the real main character, who Thomas Harris based Jack Crawford on  in Silence of the Lambs.

And yes, Dr Wendy Carr is steaming hot.

Just watched the first one last night after seeing this thread.  Good call, I think I’m going to like it. I was waiting for Stranger Things 2, but I’m in holiday for a week and should be able to fit this in first.

Finished the series last night - loved it. Tench and Holden make a great team and the plethora of (serial) killers interviewed were well played. Especially Kemper. 

Lots of interesting subtle sub plots as well that make you think.

Anyone think the pacing of the dialogue is really weird or something?  Like the way they don't leave much space between their lines at times?

Brilliant writing. Those that played the serial killers wee amazing, particularly the guy who played Ed  Kemper. He switched between jovial raconteur to icy vicious bastard like a switch.  There was no violence and hardly any gore...it's all in your mind.

I'll be up on  series 2 the minute it comes out.

I thought it was great.  I like the way pretty much all the main characters were developed and changed over the course of the series, and how immersing themselves in the world of serial killers affected both themselves and the people around them.  

Quite funny in places as well.  I look forward to the next season.

I didn’t get it, some parts seemed too convenient to be believed.  I only got up to episode three mind you, but I gave up.

I have a touch of man flu at the moment so watched all 10 episodes yesterday. Loved it. It kept me hooked all the way through. Kemper was chilling and had me on edge everytime he was on screen.
