I only like 4 of your choices! And only one might make my 25. If I was living by myself I'd have album art everywhere, but I'm married so, no ... Just no
I don't necessarily like them @axisus, they're the 25 with most meaning.  My top25 liked albums would be very different.
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

Fair enough. I think that my two lists would be practically the same to be honest

I love love love that Philip Sayce album. :) Just saying.
And also that Rammstein album, actually, funnily enough. I remember they did Mutter and that was a stellar classic - and then they did Rosenrot and that was a huuuuuge disappointment and then they came back with Reise Reise and smashed it out of the park! And then they've never done anything good since. :P

Great to see Page and Plant on there. I made a collage of 15 so far, and that is on mine. It is actually the album that got me into Led Zep.

The walls of my new office were looking rather bare, and so I did a couple of canvases of "things" that meant something to me.

One was guitar-related, and another was music (CD) related.

A 5x5 matrix of album covers that have been "significant" to me during my life in one way or another.  Not my "best" or "favourite" albums, not even the ones that I play most often, and certainly not anything that wins trendy or cool points, but probably my "desert island" albums.  It's the music that has most meaning for me.

Each one has a significance, a whole series of memories, for different events in my life that I now see as significant.

Having done that, I thought that perhaps we get too caught up in what's technically good, what's popular, what the critics say we should be listening too, and none of that is really the point of music.

The point should be what it means to us, individually.

Just thought I'd share, but not sure why!

Are you gonna hang it on your front door in hope that Phil Collins scares the Kids off at Halloween?

Managed to put some together. Nowhere near as eclectic as some on here, but they are all part of the story for me. It was great fun putting this together actually, thanks for the inspiration!

I've got a couple of canvas to get printed, similar idea to the CD covers but I'm going to pick the best of the pearl Jam tour posters, and maybe also one with the GnR ones too.

So you're saying I chose the right Klaus Wunderlich album.  That's a relief.

I'm trying to understand why @revsorg's "25" albums come out in a different order when people quote him.

Nice to see Winger in there.

I spent 6 weeks in Montreal in 1990 and listened to that Winger album constantly while I was there.  It really evokes a time for me.

Rainbow's Down To Earth isn't their best album, but they opened at Castle Donington in 1980 with Don Airey playing the intro to Eyes of the World.  The sound.  And the lights.  Made such a strong impression on me - the best start to a concert ever.

I was there too. :)  And I'd probably also pick Down To Earth as "my" Rainbow album, simply because it was the first one I bought.
