1x12 cab, change speaker from 8ohm to 16ohm?

Possibly a bit of a dim question so bear with me! I have googled for this, without success.
If I have an 8ohm 1x12 cab, but want it to be 16ohm, is it just a matter of swapping the speaker? Or is there more to it than that, rewiring / changed components needed in the cab?
