My apologies if this has been posted here before but I just wonder how easily they jump up when stomped on and disconnecting the power?

That's a quite badly explained clip. So, wireless but they have to sit on that pad and, therefore, basically useless if you want to use one on a normal board?

I love how they demo the exact thing that could be the downfall - sudden power loss. 

But, if they made a pedal board that incorporated the pads, I'd say it's a winner.  The mobile phone ones are pretty grippy, and I doubt you'd easily slide them around.

Design issue is that you probably can't use velcro, due to distance from the tesla coil.

Looks like there will be a locking system which will replace velcro for the board, though you can get a 9v adaptor to use other pedals with the board.
