Yes.....this'll be my 4th....!....but I have a recording project and gigs coming up that would suit one. Not bothered about Rev/Trem modules, a bonus if it has them.

Other High End 5E3's considered too

Sensible prices please, cash waiting.

Interested to see what if any response there is to this: they seem as rare as hens teeth.

About 4 months ago, there were a couple you couldn’t give away on here! Typically, I didn’t want one then :)

i was kinda holding out for one but then got my head turned by a Flynn 5e3, which is keeping me very happy indeed.

I hear the Flynn’s are great, as are the Gartone and Rift models too. I’m open to all. Going from past experience, a J20 will be easiest to move on once I’m finished with it though. We’ll see what’s around :)

  • Have you seen the gartone on eBay? Please buy it quick! Gutted, I was after one of these a couple of weeks ago, and ended up spending twice as much as I could afford on a lazy j20 with an extension cab. I wish I had some patience!
    good look mate.

I'm pretty sure that's the same one that sold in September on eBay listed for £1k with a best offer

I’m attempting to get in contact through eBay with an offer, that’s going to be the hardest part of the deal...

I thought the advert was a bit misleading "....brought up to 18watt rating..."  and its still running 6v6 and 5y3gt and needs bypass cap and resistor mods doing.

I'd imagine that he's referring to the transformers being suitably spec'd to be able to take the load from running 6L6s and a GZ34. The pics show standard 5e3 compliment.

Might be worth checking - with one of the FB amp gurus

I’m not stockpiling them to then go round and butter Jesse Hoff’s stairs....

(Which I’d be hard pressed to do anyway as he lives in a bungalow!) :)

@miserneil FYI There's a chap on the Lazy J Facebook page called Tony Dunn, who's looking to shift a J20 (no reverb or trem). £1600. No affiliation.
