    Wow that's really good to hear. I'm keen on getting one but think I'll wait until this first run is over

    Wgst amp are you using with it @tone1 ;

    Cool. Sonit likes a dirty amp setting ? I reckon a harlequin would be a fairly dirty amp at a certain level ?

    The Harlequin through the Tone Tubby does great clean at Home volume but it does get dirty..The Veteran likes it a bit crunchy to start with...The Boost side overdrives the Harly perfectly

    Yep and have back to backed it with the germanium. Great pedal. If anything I prefer the silicon. Sounds great with all sort of guitars/pickups and a lot of range in the controls. Don't think I've really fully investigated the bias/smooth controls yet either. The boost alone is amazing.

    I was playing it into a tone king sky king on the clean channel (although attenuated so not a lot of headroom and the boost alone gave a nice crunch sound)

    with the right amp settings it could be the only drive pedal on the board. I mean, it won't be...

    Def a keeper. And germanium variant and chase bliss brothers prob soon up for sale.

    Selling the germanium? That's a future collectors piece and you might regret selling that one

  • I’ve been meaning/trying to write a wee NPD blurb on it since I got it last week, but can’t stop playing the bloody thing! It’s insanely good!

    Ive got mine slamming into a Marshall JVM, clean and dirty, using an LP, Tele and 339 and it sounds outstanding in every setting!

    Will try and post more thoughts on it later today!

  • I must admit I'm tempted. I tried buying a few Fuzz Face pedals from Dunlop but the quality didn't seem THAT great, although I was probably just unlucky.

    Thinking about a Fulltone version of the Fuzz Face, but now THIS comes along.

    HMMMM

    they'll be posting how "amazing" it is once they get it; then a month later they'll be selling them saying "Not really my thing. I don't need it.  no velcro"

    I'd probably be more tempted to sell on my Muffroom Cloud and Mini Bone, and keep the Vet.

    I agree but it does seem to be the way it goes on here in the past. I'll be keeping my germanium and definitely be going for the silicon one post Xmas :)

    For clarity purposes: my last remark was not a commentary about your pedals, but was about the fickle and bandwagon behaviour of ppl on guitar forums concerning boutique pedals.

    You might get a pre-owned one then at less cost.  Wise move.
