Some manufacturers apply the term Sustain to compression or compander signal processors. Others have applied the term to plain, old-fashioned Fuzz pedals.

The tc electronic Classic Sustain+ Parametric EQ pedal combines compression, a noise gate and a selectable frequency cut/boost. I have one. I may have already listed it in the FX £ section. (I'll have a look and post a hyperlink to it later.)
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

The Digitech Freqout seems to be the best sustainer pedal out there at the moment.

  • Do you mean a compressor which evens out dynamics or something that you can turn on which will generate artificial feedback? If the latter then have a look at the BOSS FB-2 which is a decent shout or the new DigiTech Freqout which seems to be flavour of the month.

do you mean feedback or sustain?

I had the EHX Freeze - which I thought was a great little pedal. But I sold it when I got a Plus Pedal.  Has a few advantages over the freeze - You can have a clean out and an effect out, you can do layering, etc.

    Their site: https://www.pluspedal.com/

There's also the EHX ego and the super ego.

if you're on a budget, this is fun alternative to the freqout. it's a clone (discontinued) of the old boss DF2 (long discontinued). but they come up on ebay monthly or so. about £30 +/-
