Anyone know much about these? (@legionreturns did I imagine it or do you have one)?

As a solo bedroom player they look appealing - are they compatible with a looper?

At the moment I lay down the backing and solo over the top of my loop, and if I want to add drum beats I take the whole thing to Logic and go DI to the Mac instead of going through my looper and amp.

This looks like it might be a good way to avoid having to use the computer at all (i would much rather be able to keep things going through my actual amp than take it to the computer)

I notice the more advanced version of this has a built in looper which may suit me better but at nearly £200 it’s a big wedge for something that’s maybe not much different to what I’m doing now albeit without the faff of hooking up to the computer.

  • This is the older one, with less functionality and no Looper. They normally go for about £59. I've never used one.

Just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after you

You have the ‘plus’ version with the built in looper? Do you recommend it?

12 songs with up to five different parts stored on it, separate outputs for guitar / drums and bass (whether performing or recording) and automatic sync of loops and band. Recording is a joy.

Thanks for that, couldn't resist!  Should be an easy resale anyway if I don't find it useful.

Always fancied a try of one of these - can't resist at this price. They've been selling for more than this used on EBay recently.

FWIW I just sold my plus as I didn't like the constraint of having to play the chords 'straight' to load the sequence then play rhythm over it while keeping out of the way of the bass, and then be able to solo over that.  Found myself just using the straight looper, and implying the bass and beat while playing rhythm.
