Human Head Transplants - now an option?

World's first human head transplant a success, controversial scientist claims

There is of course a slight issue.  The successful transplant was on a corpse.  But Prof Sergio Canavero seems confident that the next step of doing it for real is achievable.

So if you have to have a transplant - obviously your existing head - onto a new body, what body would you pick?  I assume this does not have to be your existing gender?

I think at this point we need someone with PhotoShop skills to chip in?  Long time gone, but I seem to recall that @digitalscream was a dab hand at this sort of thing.

Then again, some of the potential mash up images are perhaps too traumatic for public viewing.

So if you were afflicted by baldness and had a head transplant for a head with a luxuriant thatch, would you then go bald again? That would be an absolute arse. Likewise, if your bald head was transplanted onto a body which at one time was attached to a head with a fabulous mane, would your own miserably attired dome grow back?

Would you be cured of gingerness or likewise afflicted?

I like to ponder the really serious issues here!

Imagine getting a body transplant... you would end up touching another guys todger, plus you could never have a wank again for that very reason
