I went to my guitar luthier and they said they didn't do blue binding...

This however, excites me, if I can somehow source this for my build, there shouldn't be a problem I'm thinking and, IDK, get it on a Feline Lion maybe...

How would I even go about sourcing binding material (of any colour)?

Is that blue binding, or just white binding under a clear blue finish? To me it just looks like they forgot to mask the binding.

If so it will look awful if it gets chipped.

i think some of the chinese sellers have solid colours, definitely seen red, but not blue

but the one in the OP does look like an overspray, especially with the multiply  being the same colour

Hideously pale brown fingerboard too. I thought Customs used Richlite these days? It would look better, anyway...

In these days of 3D printing, surely anything is possible, including checker patterns etc.

Though one problem springs to mind - have you seen the hideous colours 3D printer plastic comes in?  Ugh...
