We're not actively promoting this one in the UK but thought I'd let people know anyway as there is some cool gear from UK/EU sellers in it anyway, and you never know might be something you're after for Christmas!

I don't really look on reverb much as there doesn't seem to be a way to search for local stuff, or is that user error?

I couldn't see items from any UK* sellers in those links above posted by Reverb's UK Head of Marketing.   It sure would be nice to see Reverb UK promoting UK sellers and UK products.

EDIT:
* correction, there are a grand total of only 121 items (including 1 electric guitar, 2 amps, and 3 fx pedals) on sale from within the UK, out of a total of 1,327 listings in the EU. 
The latter is misleadingly headed "Listings in United Kingdom - Discover listings on sale in your country" and has a union flag next to it.   They are available to be shipped to the UK, but they are not with UK based sellers.
 Not a single electric guitar or fx pedal on sale in England.

Hey guys, yep we're constantly working to get more UK shops, brands and private sellers using Reverb. 

At the time of writing, there are 27,877 listings actually IN the in UK, and 66,727 in the whole EU.

As I mentioned this sale isn't a UK sale so our UK sellers aren't taking part, but there are some awesome bargains in it that still may make it worth picking up something cool from the US - if you're looking for something specific. Especially since it's pretty rare to see second-hand gear in sales over here.

Within the search filters you've got two separate options relating to geography...

'Ships to' - Which you want to leave set to what country you're in
'Seller Location' - Which by default is set to anywhere so you cast the widest possible net. But if you're uneasy about ordering internationally you can set to UK, at which point the search will only show gear that's actually in the UK.

Just a note on that tho - I'd highly recommend generally that you look EU and not just UK because there's some incredible second hand / vintage gear available in France, Germany, Spain etc and there's a couple of amazing pedal shops in Holland that have got an amazing selection of vintage gear if you're looking for very particular chips or what not.

Well... hypothetically imagine there was a huge sale event that the UK has that the US doesn't and was going to happen in about a weeks time. Hypothetically that'd be a good opportunity to do something special I guess. See where I'm going with that?

For those in the thread earlier bemoaning the pre-christmas sale's lack of UK inventory, this is the reason why. Boxing Day isn't really a thing in America so there they had a sale a bit earlier while European sellers held back for Boxing Day which has now started....

Don’t pay any attention to that Ro_s guy, he was just a random tit with an axe to grind at the world in general - personally I think Reverb is fantastic and I never have trouble finding UK based listings for things I’m interested in
