I've had this stuff in a drawer / cupboard / box since I acquired it from @Sporky many (too many) years ago.

Time to do something with it.

Beyond "do something with it" by putting it all into a guitar, my ideas are unformed. , although I think I'm going to have to build something around it.

So by putting it here, I'm giving myself 3 months to get it sorted!

On the upside, it'll have matured nicely in the decade or so we've stored it...

If you want to sell it on then I’d be happy to build a guitar around it. It’s time I got back into guitar synth.

On the one hand, that means I'd have to think about another challenge entry.

On the other hand, I do already have 2 other synth access guitars.

    Hmmmmm

I had to Google what the Ghost system is!
Whoever ends up fitting it, share the build please, it looks interesting!

I’ve got the ghost in a PRS cu24 - fitting it is pretty simple - just watch you have space for the boards but I’m sure that won’t be an issue for you.
Running the cables from the bridge is the biggest challenge if you want it to be neat - I just ran them to the bridge pickup and under the surround - I’m sure you can o a more elegant job.

Sorry for the derail but when I saw the title I thought you might have acquired one of @ddlooping's Diaz Ghost bodies. I wonder what happened to Dennis and the bodies he eventually got made?

Is that a predecessor of the Graphtech Ghost technology? If so, I would be interested. I fancy trying their Floyd Rose replacement saddles.

Not a predecessor, it is a Graphtech Ghost set.

And in a huge co-incidence, I exchanged PMs with Denis overnight @SteveRobinson. ; More accurately, he replied to one that I'd sent him a few weeks ago.

He's fine, but is no longer active in the guitar world - neither playing nor making.

Roland has given himself a challenge, because now he’s got to build a guitar to house the Graphtech stuff.

I hope it’s cedar bodied.  I think I am nearly near the point of using the bit I got from your tree... I keep thinking about all all uk wood build after discussing with you, so some of your cedar for the body, Douglas for for the neck....not sure about fretboard yet

@WezV Let's take this elsewhere, and not spoil Tony's thread

That's one way of looking at it.

I prefer to think of this as being the first challenge thread to be completed.

I'm looking at it as a failure before we've even reached Q1...
