I bought this as part of a job lot of drive pedals all hand built by Adam MD.
I honestly thought this would be the one out of the 3 I bought that I'd end up using the most. I've since found out it doesn't stack as well with the drive channel on my amp as some of the other pedals I've bought recently, which is quite a few!
Here's some info from Colin who built the pedal...
"Started off as a faulty TurboRat it's been completely rebuilt on a fuzzdog pcb with a LM308 IC, modded take a regular 2.1mm dc jack and the switch will select silicon or led clipping. It also has optical switching with a dpdt instead of the 3pdt in the original."
I don't know what any of that means but I do know it sounds great and looks amazingly well made inside. Colin really does have a talent for building pedals. One of the other pedals I had off Colin has gone straight on to my main board next to a Thorpy and it will be staying there for a very long time!
Seen as I bought it as part of a job lot, I'm not 100% sure what I paid for this but I think £50 REDUCED TO £45 - NOW £40 including recorded postage seems about right given the high quality of it.
