I'd like a compressor in the 1590a mini size which has a blend knob and/or some kind of tone control. Looks like the Wampler Ego Mini will do the job, but would consider other options. Just after transparent level control more than anything else.

Not really interested in chinese clones like Mooer etc.

I'm also interested in an EP Booster as an alternative a compressor - I know they don't do the same thing but it might achieve the same result I'm looking for in my rig (making sure clean tones are as loud and clear as overdriven ones...)

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to move on my Fairfield Accountant. Whilst I love it as an effect, I need a transparent compressor that keeps my full range intact. In my rig at least, I find The Account shelves lows and boosts highs.

Yeah heard good things, but internal dipswitches are a pain; would prefer everything to be accessible.
