Magnet swapping

I was about to sell my Bare Knuckle Riff Raff in favour of something Alnico II, but I've just realised I could swap the magnet in the Riff Raff and potentially save myself a pile of money. And if it doesn't go well I'll go back to plan A.

So now I just need to source an AII bar magnet. Does it matter where I get it from? Should I just go for the cheapest price I can find, or is there such a thing as better or worse Alnico II?

Yep, seen those. But they're also available from AxesRUs and eBay and StewMac. How do you decide?

If you find the stock sand cast A5 magnet sounds a bit too scooped in the midrange, consider A4.

As long as they're not degaussed then there should be negligible differences between the same grade.
