This is the older model Tone Block 200, great condition, works perfectly. Comes with original locking plug (American, so I always used it with my own kettle lead) and speaker cable. Available for collection from North London, or I can arrange to meet the buyer somewhere. I'm looking for £250 £200. Shipping is a possibility, PM me.

If you haven't used Quilter amps before, they're great. I've switched to using another Quilter model and can't imagine lugging heavy tube amps around again.

I have the Tone Block 201 but this is pretty much the same model with a slightly different EQ. Phenomenal piece of kit with tons of power and can be used as a perfect pedal platform. Somebody fucking buy this.

Ditto - mine sounds awesome with a Tech21 character pedal in front of it.  Out of interest, which Quilter model did you move on to, @r6655321?

  • I bought a 101 Reverb, mainly for the limiter feature and the overall amp voicing. I love it. I do like the tri-Q control on the TB200, but the tone stack on the 101R is actually really good, with a useful mid cut/boost. I use a Matrix NL12 so it's a good match in terms of power as well. The Tone Block has way more power than I need.

With both Quilters, I eventually got to the point where the only pedal I use is a klone. They're great pedal platforms, so it's easy to forget how good their natural sound is.

Also, shout out to their customer service, Pat Quilter's always answered my questions himself.

  • Man, I'm sorely tempted. I've already got one that we use for bass with a rusty box, but the thought of being able to take a bass and guitar rig in backpack is appealing.
