Any thoughts? Sound, reliability, ease of service, fair price?

Dave.

Great amps, cheap as too. Does sparkly clean and mega high gain. I toured for two years with one, no issues!

    £150-£200 is fair

I do have my earlier 50w version up for sale for £150. More compact and slightly better sounding!

They seem pretty solid - I don't remember ever having seen a dead one. That said, they were apparently not popular so it's possible just not many were sold. I'm not sure why, I played through a borrowed one at a gig once and it sounded perfectly good.

The last two on Ebay seem to have not sold at £180 and £215, so less than that! Which is a lot of amp for the money if you want to buy one...

I think the early Funeral for a Friend stuff is recorded on Crate Blue Voodoos...... But I might be wrong.

Ha! They went on to be early Blackstar users. ICBM will make MUCH of that I bet!

They went on to have blackstars facing up on stage, but behind them, a dual rec and a blue voodoo 300 we’re delivering the actual guitar sounds!

Oh! That is bloody hilarious! My number cruncher gives me ~130dB SPL so that thing is REALLY dangerous.
