Slipping Styrofoam drum rotor on Leslie issue.

One of my leslie 16's Styrofoam drum rotor is no longer fixed to the steel pin and so slips up and down a few millimeters every turn adding an audio thump on each rotation.

What glue injection should I use that would hold metal and styrofoam?

the vibratone manual describes it as 'foam'.

Gorilla expanding polyurethane glue, is ideal for foam (aka styrofoam), but use it very, very sparingly as it expands when drying and can get everywhere! it actually looks like styrofoam when dry and hardened. Try a test piece on a couple of bits of foam first to get the idea of just how much it does expand.

I see it's water activated. Ideally I would inject it into the sleeve between the rod and the styrofoam rather than disassemble the parts. Any suggestion for the best way to inject the Gorilla glue and then water? I'm a bit of a novice for DIY but will happily apply myself.

It works without adding water. I think that's preferred for large areas, but it certainly expands and sets in the small bits I use it for.

No need for any additional water, moisture in the atmosphere is sufficient to start the chemical process. Ideally you would  remove the shaft coat it and reassemble but you could try an industrial syringe as the glue is fluid enough initially
