Gentlemen of mature years suggested that Muse bloke can’t do squealy guitar solos when that’s pretty much his style and what he’s famous for. So using my comic genius I suggested that maybe the gentlemen of mature years wasn’t familiar with the band and player in question, and I cleverly slipped in the term “long player” to suggest a link to the vinyl format beloved by gentlemen of mature years (and younger gentlemen with neat beards). I also added a ‘The’ to the name of the band, much in the style of the early years of (The) Cream and (The) Pink Floyd amongst others who were prefixed with the definite article. 

A lot of effort for two Lols I’m sure you’ll agree.

Yeah, no squeaky solos, trashy gimmicky X/Y pad making a guitar sound like a pound shop bontempi organ notwithstanding.

I suppose being surrounded by people telling you your farts smell like sandalwood and everything you say is an artistic revelation probably makes you spout some absolute bum gravy from time to time. Still, he's many times richer than I'll ever be so what do I know?
