Amp service.

Just got my amp back from its first service and its been given a clean bill of health. The tech hasn't done any repairs but he said he cleaned all the pots, volume bass treble mid etc that where crackly. He probably used a spray cleaner of some sort. Now the amp has become brighter and lost its lovely warmth. I know by cleaning the pots it would make the electrical contacts work more efficiently. But is this usually the case after the above work.

Forgot to mention its got louder, so the volume pot must be working more efficiently after being cleaned.
