Millenium HP4 headphone amp (Thomann)

Has anyone used one or got one? Just about to pick one up, but I'm slightly worried the thing is too cheap for what it is! Its ideal for my application though. I suppose the only thing im worried about is the thing loud enough or will I find ourselves cranking everything to the max? 

Also, If its only a mono signal going in, but I'll be using stereo headphones, will I be OK in just using standard stereo headphone extension leads? Or would the signal just come out of one ear? Do I need to get some sort of special mono lead? 

This is probably such a daft question, but thought I'd better chk before ordering!
