Thinking standard series, Rosewood backed and Cedar topped, though open to all options.

I've played a few already and consistency seems very high so I'd be willing to purchase second hand and save a decent amount. If nothings out there I'll buy new, but, not in any great rush.

Thanks, but, it's an F I'm really looking for. The O is just a bit big, even though the ones have played have been incredible!

Where did you get one please? I'm also interested in F model Lowden's.

I drove to Aberdeen to visit Celtic Chords, a great small traditional music shop. They had a handful of Lowden's, Brook's and Atkin's as well as Sigma, Tanglewood etc.

Had a great couple hours playing various models and chatting with the owner, Pete.

I came away with a Lowden F32, though was also very taken with a Brook Torridge.

So much for not being in a rush lol

Excellent choice   That's the same model I have, bought it 12 years ago, sounds better and better every year.  Enjoy it sir, you have marvellous taste!
