Steven Wilson last night was sporting a 63 tele and it got me a wonderin' how much one of them 63 jobs would cost these days?

    As cool as juniors are they are not as desirable in the vintage collectors world as strats, teles, or les pauls. They sit with the fender offsets in the ‘comparitively undervalued’ section!

    Reverb is pretty accurate if you research a bit. 

    I would say you see late 60s Teles (also wonderful I love my 68/9 maple cap) for £5-6k

    Going pre-CBS maybe double that?

    Both absolute tone machines, both refin's and snared for around Masterbuilt money.

    When I saw him at Warwick art centre I am sure he was sporting that guitar. He did say it was a custom shop or something though?!?
    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
