How low do you go....

I can't find an option to post a poll, but I'm just curious, How low do you have your guitar slung? 

Middle of the road 

Up high UB40 style 

Slung down low?

I've found that over the years mine has got lower and lower and I find it really uncomfortable to have my guitar up high on my chest. I also find that having a guitar high on my cheat can give me back ache after long periods (especially with my Les Pauls).

And the middle of the road picture looks quite high to me ;-).All my guitars are different but I hang them so that the bridge fits in my hand with my arm straight down so Palm mutes are easier.

Petrucci's looks pretty high to me for "middling". I have mine on the low side of middle, I guess. I generally set my Gibsons so the furthest control is exactly at arm's length. Then on my strat and Teles I set it so the strings are in the same place as on the Gibsons!

Covers band - music man axis and echotone are middle-high (for me) just to ensure accuracy of playing and that my hand won't cramp up over a long shift

New originals band - axis slung pretty low, no tremelo arm and because it's light, it gets flung about a bit!

Slash is the strangest, he has it slung low, but for any tricky bits he brings it up to a weird vertical position :-?

Middle. Set by setting my strap at a comfortable height when seated, arm position stays roughly where it was when I stand up.

Slightly lower than middle - I used to wear it higher but over the years it has got lower.

To my surprise when I order a strap from hypnotic it was an inch or two, too short and I had to get the extension (which was too long and needed a hole adding, turing the whole thing into too much of a saga!)
