DANGD - scratching the Les Paul itch.
'97 Classic Goldtop. Acquired yesterday via eBay from original owner who had it since he was a teenager. My first "proper" LP, early days but I hope we get along.
It's a sweet thing.
I love the case, and that it's well loved and has history.
Original except for knobs and scratchpad that I think got changed and lost along the journey.

the story on the big ding is it got a pedal dropped on it near 20 years ago, he says he kept the bit of wood for years intending to patch it back in ....
Makes me feel that I’m definitely missing a Goldtop.
Would look even better with some pickup covers, though.
