Played one briefly in Peter's workshop. Very nice indeed, and possibly the quietest (in noise terms) valve amp I've ever used.

What type of amp do you compare it to. Fendery or Marshall.

I've played the newer 60 watt version. Which has different power modes. Including the 20 watt setting. I thought the amp was very nice. Stunning reverb and tremolo on it.
I'd say the amp did it's own thing. It didn't sound like a fender as it had more mid range. Some people think they are quite sterile sounding. But I wouldn't say that. The amp just has a very clean sound.
It took pedals very well though. If that helps.

I'd add though. I was considering one. But I'm going to go with an amp from Chris at rift amps instead. I like the amps that come more from the fender sounds as I think they have a lot more qualities that suit my taste. I think there is more character to the cleans. Well to my ears anyway.
