The trip was to Luthier Supplies. Sadly David wasn’t there but I still managed to ferret out some nice stuff. 

In answer to WezV, I will be building a bass with a Jazz shaped body and Precision neck, probably J and P pickups. Then I have a tele-ish design in mind which I will probably build two variants of. I bought wood to build a Strat neck too and an extra fingerboard for luck! 

Probably start on one of the Teles and then the bass. Currently sorting out my new workshop in order to get going.
