I may just have been lucky but it's flawless and sounds awesome. Oiled fretboard changed strings lubed nut and bridge adjusted truss rod bridge height and set intonation and it plays like butter. Superb. Even unplugged its really very resonant. The neck gives a very pleasing "knock" indicating a good grain (ok i made that fact up). I am now officially Angus Young.
Neck shape is very similar to my charvel. Just right.
This is the 2nd time ive owned one and i didnt like the previous one from 2012 but this i think is a keeper.
1st gig with it Friday.

Pleased for you! Enjoy the gig
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
Why is white cheaper than pinkish yellowish binding? I'd rather have white binding on my SG's that came with the pinkish yellow binding Gibson had recently been using - especially the white SG!
I guess having no poker chip saves taking off the cheap bit of badly printed plastic that tells you which way is rhythm and which is treble, which I've never seen the point of.
Gibson have used a wide variety of knobs on SGs - at least they're easy to change if you don't like 'em. Unlike binding, nibs, or cherry finishes, which you tend to get stuck with.
Be thankful they're not G-Force tuners???
Go to the back of the room.. now.
HNGD @fastonebaz . SG’s are awesome, there’s been a lot of talk about them recently again and tbh my GAS levels are peaking. Good score

I hate the prosthetic limb coloured binding on my LP. I get that it's supposed to look aged, but not 'Aged Barbie'.
The same goes for ridiculous mint green plastics on Strats, even extending the the back plate, which wouldn't have aged like that in a million years.
Happy NGD, it looks great!
The SG is the coolest looking design of them all.
I'd take white binding over the pinkish stuff any day.
Poker chips - never quite understood the need for those.
Small pickguard - winning.

Again, poor form.

Actually, maybe you're right, it's probably worth reading two dozen 'nice guitar mate, well done you brave man' comments to avoid excruciating passive aggressive comments like "poor form." from nerds on the internet
I haven't the foggiest idea whether the OP gives a shit about anyone else's opinion or not, but neither have you, so don't be a dick.
