NB. As this is the seller who’s been hawking the “SG conversion” ‘50’s/‘60’s/some-point-in-the-20th-century Les Paul (which yo-yo’s between £4.5K and £10K) forever, I suppose this new “special” auction shouldn’t really be a surprise...

Speaking of *stolen*, any UK authorised RIC retailer would be fuffed to chuck to obtain a brand new 4003 so cheaply that it could be sold profitably for only £999.99. That figure isn't even the deposit that a dealer would have to pay to secure an order. 

"Better pics ... to follow" = the seller doesn't actually have a Rickenbacker in store. 

Many eBay business seller listings run for 29 days. That one could easily run for 29 months.

when I was younger like way back (urgh 40 now so im talking 13, 27 years ago) this place was a tropical fish shop and a bizzare display sword, knives etc shop. The guy was pretty grumpy who owned it, but I lived 20 minutes walk away and I kept tropical fish. 

I've been in once since it to part guitar shop as I use to work near there, it was barely open, maybe 1 or 2 times a week, and it was full of the usual crap cheap gear, you know encore, vintage, etc. Nothing Fancy!
