A pedalboard build...

I’ve decided to finally get a pedalboard started after I sold my last one to fund the business.

Ive always been an tuner, overdrive and delay guy. But where’s the fun in that?! So, the plan is to design a board that will be big enough for expansion but not one that is too OTT. I’ll admit to being a recent convert of using pedals to colour the existing tone rather than trying to find a new amp to create the various sounds I’m after. I think it’s a good move for me as pedals are more accessible than amps (mainly budget constraints). 

Id like to have the usual chorus, flanger, vibe etc stuff going on as well as boost and distortion boxes.

I need to decide whether or not to build or buy something fit for the task at hand. This is a non gigging board so I can make it look more aesthetically pleasing to me than if I was making one to be used and abused 3 nights a week in various venues.

That is not what you need, a Tuner, an Overdrive, a Fuzz and an Envelope Filter.

Rocker

A good tuner, a treble booster and a distortion pedal will get you most of the way there.

what sort of board are you after ? I’ve got a stalled pedal board project/business idea, I’ve a couple of prototypes kicking about if you’re interested ?

It’s not a bad start at all  

I was keen to make my own board bud. But thanks for the offer. I may revisit an idea from a while back, seeing as it’s not a gigging rig I can have some fun with it.
