Dying Tech 21 Trademark 30?

My TM30 is cutting in & out and the volume also changes if you move the chassis slightly. It looks very neat inside. Any ideas? I’ve heard they’re a pig to fix due to complex electrics.

Check if you can isolate it to the input jack. That's probably the most likely and easiest to fix.

I may have cured it by simply placing a patch cable in the fx loop. And by troubling coincidence I’ve done the same thing with a problematic 80s Session Duette and that’s now also much more “stable”. Here’s hoping it’s a lasting fix... Certainly cheap.

@scarry67 Yep, that's one fix for a common problem on these amps due to humidity oxidising the fx loop contacts.  The other is some contact cleaner on some jacks.

^^this. I had exactly the same problem with a Trademark 60. Patch lead in fx loop or contact cleaner is the solution .
