The original says Peter Cetera was the vocalist, but it looked like Terry Kath to me?

*edit* it's a long time since I last heard it - good post!

Looks like Peter Cetera ( the bassist) singing in that clip. I recommend the documentary about them that’s on Netflix, it’s a bit biased as it’s produced by the remaining members  but it’s interesting,

Cracking tune by a deeply underwhelming band.

IMO the single edit is actually tighter and better.

    Disagree about them being underwhelming.

I bought Chicago Transit Authority around 1970 and its still one of my favourite albums. Hendrix seriously rated Kath. The band went down hill after Kath blew his brains out but the first couple of albums were great.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

    CTA were a great band.

Chicago became rather tame and dilute in comparison.

    IMHO, of course.

Yes, they ended up as a cheesy ballad factory towards the end of Cetera's time and particularly afterwards, but Chicago recorded some brilliant pieces of music.
    To name but 3.
    Harmonies by the Beach Boys:

One of my most-listened-to bands.  The Chicago Story is a good starting point (the 40 odd track version).

Chicago were only CTA for one album, and "25 or 6 to 4" isn't on that one.
