    What Crimson course are you planning to attend Adrian?
    Are you planning to sign up for the whole enchilada (the 3 month one) ?
    It looks like it could be a great experience.

    personally, i think it works best with a V style headstock... which is why i built one like that

    If you are going on a course that has a fair degree of customisability to it, and if you have the time, why not branch out into something that would be difficult to find in a shop. You could pick any shape, but use one of Ben's 'faulty' timbers with a resin infill? (resin coloured or loaded with metal powder for instance).
    That way it becomes instantly unique, yet playable.

    if it was me, I'd go with a double-neck, but  days may not be enough for that.

    thats right or property management.... ive always liked to do my own thing though...
