The other guitarist in my band - a 71 year old Blues nazi who thinks distortion is the work of the devil turned up at rehearsal this week with a TC Spark boost. Whatever next - OK it's not a real filth machine but maybe things are looking up.

    Honest truth that pedal is my secret weapon of late. I’ve been using it as an EQ for recording and it’s been a lifesaver. Also as a bit of a dirt pedal it works well.

    If he had asked me I would probably have recommended it anyway, that or the Catalinbread Chili Picasso. I Have the Mini Spark which is also great.

    Another surprise Mike turned up at the gig last Saturday with a pedal board. Loaded with pitch black, spark boost, boss tremelo and chorus.
