Thats a great guitar for all your fun lovin criminal needs
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Different model. He had the cheaper less desirable model the Tennessean.

The gibson Tennessean is simular to the gretsch from the point of view it's a lesser model n not very desirable and not easy to sell.

All the best with your trade.
Personally I think your about right regarding trade value.

It's just a matter of finding the right person who wants a Gibson country gentleman.

I have one from 91 n I love it. A very different guitar from the gretsch country gentlemans tho imo
