I just had a count up..

    Main preamp board -
    Compressor x1
    Boost/drive/fuzz x4
    Phaser x1
    Volume x2
    Noise suppressor x1
    Total - 9

    Main delay board -
    Delay x4
    Total - 4

    Mini board -
    Compressor x1
    Boost/drive/fuzz x2
    Delay x1
    Total -  4

    Loose/storage -
    Tuner x1
    Volume x2
    Wah x1
    Pitch shifter x1
    Delay x2
    Compressor x2
    Boost/drive/fuzz x6
    EQ x1
    Flanger x1
    Tremolo x1
    A/B/Y box x1
    Total - 19

    That's a grand total of 36 pedals.
Not too bad after over 30 years of playing and considering I don't often sell off old pedals.

I don't use the little Red Shaman Buffer, yet. I don't have any spare pedals, everything I use is on here. That's not to say there wont be any more in future ;-)

Just the 8 I use- Wah, 3 dirt, compressor, mobius, timeline and tuner. That's all I need. Maybe a POG one day.

What's the boutique pedal upgrade?  Surely if it's solid state, not digital, they can't be upgraded by software?

    I only use a Polytune.

Decided some time ago to do away with everything, and just go straight into the amp.

Don't know how long I can hold out mind. That '61 setting on the Flint is dragging me in!

considering first that i sold a lot of pedals in the last year and have settled on one pedal for each category...

    2 Tuners
    1 Comp
    1 Noise Gate
    1 Wah
    2 OD
    2 Fuzz
    1 Distortion
    1 Phaser
    1 Reverb
    2 Delay
    1 Tremelo/Percussive Repeater

    15 Total...shit...thats more than I thought.

@ThePrettyDamned ...you don't need a Chorus...you need a Vibe...or get a Sibling and use it as Phaser or vibe

Here's my lovely Keeleys. If anyone's got a Keeley DD3 they don't want, let me know!

Keep an eye on the second-hand at Coda, they get Keeley stuff in an a semi-regular basis.

    2 that I don't use (1 broken) and 4 on the board = 6

I might need one of those that sound like they add wah to every note, not the ducky one Guthrie plays.
I think they're called filters or envelopes or envelope filters..

So yeah, I'm digging more amp these days so 4 working pedals and no interest in any more..
Channel switcher amps on the other hand..

Loads! Mainly drives, mostly modded + a few wahs, delays, choruses, phasers, etc.

How many do I use? None. Like @Roland, since I got my Axe Ultra (and later on the KPA) I use the FX from there as it's easier to control everything, they sound as good or better, there are no routing issues and there's less to carry.
