I got two handrawn cards one of which has a picture of me drawn with a massive round head wearing a tiny little hat like Georgie Dawes. And the other one has a skeleton, some lightning, what looks like a single bone randomly floating in the sky like in 2001 a space odyssey and what can only be descibed as an offset reverse flying V (i like telecasters).

So yeah! Happy farters day boys.

Got a bottle of aftershave and some jelly sweets, my big weakness.

My 13 year old daughter and I went to the cinema to watch Solo which was decent film, got to take my wife's Saab which I hardly ever drive but I love, my daughter let me choose the music so we had the Jam and the Stranglers and she pretended to like it.

Came home and watched 3 world cup games, my autistic son watched Mexico beat Germany with me as wanted to see if the losers got killed? watched some of the boxing from last night and played some guitar badly.

I'm not a father but I have a funny kind of relationship with mine. When growing up I used to spend alot of time with him, driving across London to see my grandma, washing the car, etc etc. As the years went on I don't really see him much now apart from Christmas, and we kinda drifted apart. Still, I always make the effort for birthdays and of course today. He's instilled into me a hard work ethic and a stubborn bastard personality.

Cards from the girls and their kids. Granda socks, fudge and a mug and Celebrations. The youngest one a car very in a hotel so I ate and ate and ate.
