So, following on from my previous thread asking about the Cub iii 15r for live use, Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Player Series, or had a chance to compare against the hand-wired?

I haven't tried one but have only heard good things. I went for the handwired largely because I wanted the option of the tone switch, but honestly I wouldn't miss it if it wasn't there as I use bass & treble 90% of the time.

Yeah, I’ve spoken with Marc already. He praises both amps, favouring the HW slightly, as would be expected. 

I’m almost there with cash for the HW, but not quite! Trying my hardest to raise enough cash before my deadline gig in Sheffield in 20/07!
