gotoh sd90 (how to tell is real or not???)

Got some tunes off bay or e,

Just want to double check if they are real or not but having looked online I really can't find if they have any identifying marks or not?

How can I tell? Surely must be a way? Do the have a unique ratio (say 18:1 instead of more normal 16 or 14 or is it different depending on age).

There are several variants of the Gotoh SD90. Too many to bother describing. The only legend on them will be the word JAPAN on the back plate, near the crimped tabs.

The easiest way to confirm what you have been sold is to post photographs.

Ah good, yeah have Japan on back on knob side running from near peg with the N of Japan finishing just below the crimp tab...

Will post photos if thay sounds wrong.  But reckon that looks good.
