I've bought a lot of guitars and sold a lot too, the ones that I tent to keep all seem to be gold for some reason

Should really get a proper one made but this is on the cheap as chips “shedocaster” which has already doubled its original cost with the new paint!!!!!

@poopot - if you did spitfire then it would cost more than all the rest of it including the new paint :)

I can't say what colour is really it but gold and brass hardware seems to do it for me. The walnut of partscaster Blackie is pretty awesome as always. The body dating back to September 1977 and made by Schecter back when they made high quality parts.

My Jackson Rhoads custom has gold and brass hardware as that was the way Randy Rhoads has it. Blackie had a brass bridge so I decided to go gold on the rest in 2014 and it came out nicely enough. I do believe the bridge and brass block to be Schecter too.

    Very nice Anderz!

Here's a heads up......if you want it to sound nice I would consider fitting a set of strings.....

That is from the 3rd upgrade while it was done. Strings were the last thing and it had several sets on since.

White has always been a thing for me, or that turquoise blue colour like the Strat Simon from Biffy Clyro plays

I've never owned a green guitar and it occurred to me a little while back that I really want one.
I think it comes from was when I was getting into guitars and was impressed by a much older guy who worked in the local guitar shop (umm, he'd have been about 17!) and I'd see him play a green Aria strat in his band.  It possibly also relates to really liking the Green Lantern too!

I want a Jazzmaster in a green and black combination.  Something like this:
but with a rosewood neck obviously.

    Or like this:

  • That Green Gretsch is beyond gorgeous! I am a red guitar kind of bloke, but I never seem to have owned one.

Most of my guitars are orange or close so that just be my favourite.

For lasting after based on looks I love Daphne blue Strat, blueberry burst les Paul (discontinued colour :( ), aquamarine ES335 and the old classic butterscotch Tele.

Varies so much from model to model. Eg don’t like red SGs or 335s even though they are classic colours for those guitars, but quite like a red LP, tele, or Strat. Black cool on a Les Paul and Pete Thorn’s Suhr, boring on Strats or Teles. Natural boring on a Strat but great on a 335. Green great on some Gretsches, naff on just about everything else. Could go on and on.

I'm rather fond of blue/purple guitars. Though until recently didn't own one. But a few months ago picked up an LTD 256FM in See Through Purple. For the price it's a very nice guitar.
