I made a wikkid stir-fry at the weekend. Nuked up the remains of it for lunch. Much as I like bamboo shoots, I don't understand the pandas - I couldn't exist on nothing but bamboo shoots.

Sprog unit 1 went for her kickboxing and karate grading last week, and tonight she found out that she did so well she double graded.

Very proud of her, she worked hard for it.

I had my solution defence for my final project this morning. It had all fallen apart late in the development (as usual) so I was missing a lot of the key functionality that I'd been aiming for, and I got a bit disheartened and turned in what I felt was a pretty poor dissertation overall.

Anyway, had the demo this morning and to my surprise the lecturers were impressed enough by the analysis & foundations that I'd built everything upon (until it broke) that they're awarding me a strong 2:1 for the module which is enough to secure my 2:1 overall for my degree, even if I fail next week's exams!!! :D

To say I'm happy right now is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're probably going to want to speed that up a bit for that actual exam.

doing some configuration jiggery-pokery. I can now log in using ssh from my desktop PC to my industrial tiny box PC on the other side of the lab. learning stuff about linux :) when I've sussed doing it externally - outside the company's LAN - we shall have
    • the capability to support users' systems from our lab without having to travel to their site
    • the capability for me to log in from home so that I don't have to drive here

I think it's going to be featured in some ford magazine anyway Mike. I'll put some pics up if not though. You know your schemes! I'm impressed. No mate it's straight semi matt camouflage grey with the dark sea grey cheat line/flash.
We're possibly putting a contrasting grey union flag on the roof too if we get time.

My Dad is Ex-RAF, so having an interest in aircraft has always  been with me. I have Marshalls Aerospace, literally across the road from work, and when it was still an operational flying station, RAF Wyton (the actual airfield) is around a mile from where I live. Also when Alconbury was still a flying station, the flight path was literally right over my house!!!!

I spotted that from your other posts so well done dude and it is great to have choice.

Couldn't resist the chance to do a stereotypical student jest.
