As those who are friends with me on FB know we've started a tribute photo album in her honour, going out of our way to capture the worst elements of photography.

Enjoy these small highlights and feel free to add your own horrors: the second one down the page is a particular highlight for me.

My mom's entire family are the same. Our whatsapp group is full of terrible, unflattering selfies. My aunt's wedding is legendary because nobody took a decent photo.

Brilliant stuff. I particularly like the one of the two chaps (in Venice?) that gives the impression that the photographer is at least two feet taller than they are.

Whaddya mean!?! Great picture of a cherry picker ruined by a fountain and some bloke in front of it.

Brilliant. My wife takes thousands of photos (literally), but to be fair, doesn't share the bad ones (she doesn't delete them either though).

Thankyou for this thread - those pictures had me choking on my lunch. I think the first one was my favourite - how do you look through a viewfinder and not see that his head isn't in the picture????

That's a fair point. In this day and age where you can delete instantly, there have been conscious decisions made to keep and publish these!
